With a 12mm main pin and 3.5 tonnes towing mass, this shackle is your all-rounder. Ideal for the boat or builder's trailer. Put this shackle to use any way you see fit, even attaching the sea anchor to the boat.

Specifications:

  • 3.5t maximum towing mass.
  • Captive pin.
  • 23mm leg width.
  • Allow 14mm for the roll pin to fit through the tow bar hole.
  • Designed in NZ by a Kiwi, manufactured in China under a license.

  • All shackles are compliant with AS2741 and NZS5467 standards.

By law, the Maximum Towing Mass (MTM) must be 1.5 times greater than the actual towing mass. For convenience, we have included a recommended towing mass which is the MTM divided by 1.5, please ensure that the mass of your load does not exceed our recommended towing mass.
